I designed and maintain the information architecture of the Confluence enterprise wiki system for the eBay Classifieds Group.

The system is used by product, development and operations teams that support some of the leading online marketplaces, including eBay Kleinanzeigen, Gumtree, Marktplaats and mobile.de.

I joined the project in 2009 to help replace a small internal development wiki and designed the initial information architecture and custom navigation for the enterprise rollout of Atlassian Confluence.

After successful adoption at mobile, other members of the eBay Classifieds Group quickly recognized the advantages of a common knowledge sharing platform, and the initial information architecture was extended to support additional marketplaces and brands. The system has grown ever since, and currently comprises over 70,000 pages and 200 spaces and is accessed by eBay employees worldwide.

I help teams at eBay to organize their content, maintain the site IA and manage the content lifecycle by archiving stale content based on content usage metrics and data analytics.
