Microcopy Workshops

Members of the TYPO3 Assocation hired me to help them explore options for improving the text in the user interface of their open source enterprise content management system.

The TYPO3 Assocation coordinates and funds the long-term development of TYPO3 CMS. A proposal for their 2021 budget led to the founding of a microcopy special interest group that included members of the board, documentation team, structured content initiative and other community members.

The team comprised a wide range of backgrounds and knowledge, and needed a primer on best practices for microcopy as they set out to improve the user experience.

I delivered a series of workshops to introduce the team to the practice of UX Writing, and help them begin to plan the process of improving the UI copy in their CMS.
